From the Editor's Desk

This week we have our eye on technology, starting with our cover story highlighting the different challenges faced by nonprofits when it comes to incorporating new technology. In the research section, Annette Balgord provides specific tips on how to improve your online fundraising and in her article on fundraising, Jen Love gives some important advice on thinking about your donors and how to leverage social media. Our Spotlight this month highlights the work of the YWCA of Canada, which just launched the Safety Siren, a new iPhone App geared toward young women. Finally, in our 15th anniversary Canadian Changemakers series, we feature Robert O'Brien, founder of the environmental organization Ocean Net, based in Newfoundland and Labrador.
